Solidarity with people from Iran
The Executive Board would like to express compassion for everyone in our community who is directly or indirectly affected by the current events in Iran. Here you can find the current support being offered by ETH.
As an institution that values academic freedom, independent thinking and free speech, ETH advocates that everyone should be able to acquire an education and express their views in an environment that is free from threat. We strongly empathise with the Iranian students, scholars and scientists who are standing up for their freedom.
Especially in such times of crisis, it can be helpful to talk to someone and seek support. Considering this, we would like to remind you of the counselling services we offer at ETH.
- All students, including doctoral students can seek counselling at the sessions offered by ETH Student Services and at the external pagePsychological Counselling Servicescall_made jointly offered by ETH and the University of Zurich.
- Help is also offered by the external page"Nightline"call_made, an independent, confidential and anonymous help line by students for students.
- All employees can seek counselling at the Institute of Applied Psychology (IAP) at ZHAW (contracted by ETH Zurich).
